Our Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 course is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace. Attendees of this course will be qualified to legally administer First Aid to those aged 18 years of age and over. (If you require First Aid provision for those under 18 years of age, you can add the Emergency Paediatric First Aid top up to this course on booking). An interactive course guiding you through the ins and outs of the 12 lead electrocardiogram (ECG). Starting with an introduction to cardiac anatomy, physiology and the electrical conduction system, we will guide delegates through how to perform a 12 lead ECG correctly and how to begin its interpretation. Using real-life examples you’ll learn the important aspects of atrial arrhythmias, heart blocks, bundle branch blocks, ventricular arrhythmias in addition to changes that occur during myocardial infarction, ischaemia and electrolyte imbalances. The course will be provided by Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiac Clinical Scientists from Manchester University Foundation Trust - one of the largest tertiary cardiac centres in the UK.
