Project Finance Modeling Fundamentals

Description

This course will teach participants the fundamentals of project finance modeling following best practices. It requires an above-average understanding of Excel and Finance and a working knowledge of the mechanics of basic corporate models.  

Some of the concepts covered in this course are: 

•    Overview & Design Fundamentals of Project Finance Modeling 

•    Structuring and handling timing in Project Finance 

•    Project Funding and Costs Construction 

•    Debt Service Reserve Account and Mechanics of modeling the Maintenance Reserve Account under changing periods and expenditure profiles. 

•    Model Optimization This instructor-led course includes: 

•    2 weeks of self-paced essential learning content that you are to complete before the instructor-led live virtual sessions begin 

•    6 instructor-led virtual sessions of 2 hours each. Each Session will have a 15-minute break. 

•    Intersession Assignments that you are expected to complete and discuss in your preassigned groups during the session. 

•    Capstone Project
