EVERY TUESDAY FOR SIX WEEKS

5pm - 9pm

A friendly, in-person course about advanced recording techniques. Intended for learners with some experience of recording, or as a follow on from Stage 1.

• Live room acoustics, and capturing a three-dimensional sound
• Producing a top-class drum sound: creative miking and editing
• Achieving a sparkling vocal sound, and using vocal tuning software
• Comping and editing instrumental takes
• The listening environment - how to understand what you are hearing
• Selecting the right cable really DOES matter!
• Bringing a recording together

You will make a full recording as a group. At the end, you can take away the stems to do what you like with (subject to permission).
