Grow your Mindset started as a little project for 2 primary school teachers and Grow Your Mindsets founders, Gemma Sanchez and Elizabeth Cronshaw. As middle leaders, they were asked to look at the lack of resilience that the children at their school were showing. They'd felt it themselves, in their own classrooms. Even with their jazz hands, collaborative learning and creative style to teaching, there was always a handful of kids who found things 'too hard', lacked in effort, feared making mistakes and would go into melt down if they didn't get things right and this sparked a journey, Gemma and Liz would not forget. The journey of Growth Mindset. As you do, you get yourself on a really inspirational course and they paid for it themselves because school budgets were tight. They headed in to Manchester to spend the day and listen to public speaker and author of a ton of useful books, Jackie Beere and her journey of growth. They were hooked. They could see the answer in the palm of their hands, the theory that was going to revolutionise their classrooms for ever!

We offer a range of courses for First Aid, Environmental Causes and Scuba Diving.    Our First Aid Courses (Emergency First Response) follow the latest guidelines from ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation). Courses are delivered with presentations, videos, skill demonstrations (where applicable) followed by skill practice by the student (where applicable). Some course will have home study in them also. Our First aid and Oxygen Administrator courses are a delivered in a structured way, building a foundation and build on the knowledge learned from previous modules.    At the end of the course* the student will get a certification card from one of the leading diver training agencies with over 50 years of teaching experience behind it. Don't be put off though most of our courses are designed for non-Divers as well.  We don't just stop after qualification; we are an active resource for our students by offering a student login*. As long as you have taken a qualifying course within the last 2 years you gain access to the student login area and have access to documents and videos relevant to your qualification. I have since retrained as a Breastfeeding Counsellor, Postnatal Practitioner and Baby Massage Practitioner - BA (Hons) Birth and Beyond Educator with the NCT.
